Note that these numbers from the GAO are from 2015 to 2020. No idea what the numbers for this year alone are. For all we know, they're worse.

Of course, making America great was never a principle any of them had, anyway. It was, and always was, really just MAWA.

Of course, this requires Republican support (in even larger numbers than it needed the last two times), and Republicans are more afraid of getting primaried by MAGA than they are of and imbecilic monster starting WW3.

We should not go to war with Iran and it'll be helpful to have freaks like Carlson communicating to the MAGA base as we try and stop this thing, but we also can't let the context of *why* they're doing it slip through the cracks.

And we risk never having a legitimate election gain because we don't want to look like hypocrites by pointing out the last one had actual irregularities.

You post says "would" but your actual headline uses the dissembling and ultimately dishonest "could."
Stop trying to find two sides to one-sided issues. It's not objectivity. It's the opposite.

You don't move the Democrats to the Left by allowing them to lose to the vilest of far-right goons. That teaches them the opposite lesson of the one you want to learn, and the fact that people still refuse to see that is baffling.

I was leaving the Los Feliz Albertsons while Clancy Brown was walking in. We both sidestepped a little to make more efficient use of the sidewalk.

Can only speak from personal experience, but Seattle 1999 was absolutely a police riot.

For the life of me, I don’t understand how this isn’t the biggest takeaway from this. If he’s telling the truth, he participated in the coverup of a pedophile.

I mean, hey, at least you eventually get one heck of a deus ex machina.

You'd think all these libertarians would have read their Heinlein.
(Of course, their version of libertarianism is more "sociopathic neoliberalism" than "prison revolt.")

I actually did see lightning. Was walking around Larchmont at the time. I took shelter expecting a downpour. Got a sprinkle.

A double Vateshran-style death wall is definitely something I wanted to see in a World Boss.

You know, my favorite Aristotle quote is "A probable impossibility is preferable to an improbably possibility," and damn, if this isn't nearly a paraphrase of that.

Related, my “that note won’t work” reaction is accurate 50% of the time at most, probably less.

It sounds like a wacky conspiracy theory to say the long-term goal of Capital since at least the 80s has been a neo-feudalist system. Unless you pay attention to literally anything they’ve done, then it seems much less far-fetched.
