Jesus Dude was so weird at this. Like... What part of it was he upset with? It wasn't the Pride Parade. He wandered through the park, shouting about how Jesus is the only True King like it was some big gotcha, but a "No King but Jesus" sign would've fit right in with the crowd.

Easily the biggest flag here is a trans pride flag waving in the breeze

That flag is literally bigger than some apartments.

As I tried to find the Metro entrance, every street I came across was getting closed further and further away from the circle. Until Connecticut on the south side. That one *looked* open all the way, butt ws blocked off anyway about three quarters of the way along, so everyone had to backtrack.

Where it could have been 99% party and 1% "Aw, man, I have to walk to the other side of the circle for the Metro?" if they'd just closed off a minimal area around the crime scene.
Or at least had someone at the police line giving directions.

I didn't see where any of the shooting or stabbing happened, but it seemed to me like the whole thing could have been a much, much smaller response.
The vibe of the crowd was 75% party and 25% "How the hell do I get to the Metro, what do you mean I have to walk all that way?"

Very strategic, indeed.

Just imagine that. You're in the checkout at Wal-Mart, and you notice all the prices have gone up a lot recently for some reason, and then your next thought is 8647, your PIN.

Actually, it's probably better odds than that, because I'd imagine that just like license plates, phone numbers, and Nintendo game passwords, some combinations like "0000" and "1234" are going to be left out.
But not 8647.
Your PIN could totally be 8647.

That episode wasn't even any good back then. There was an immediate outcry and the writer disowned parts of it, claiming executive meddling.
