Absolutely. The pro-Cuomo super PAC is already spending millions of dollars trying to portray Mamdani as a swarthy Muslim radical who hates law enforcement and safety. If ICE arrested him for allegedly assaulting an agent, I’m not sure the universal Democratic response would be “ICE is wrong.”

It’s mind-boggling that 18 Senate Democrats would vote for a bill that legalizes Trump’s blatant corruption while he’s arresting their colleagues. The fact that voting for this bill is an acceptable position in the Democratic Party is a sign of irredeemable corruption.
