Quite frankly, the claim that Trump has dementia has about as much believability as Joe Scarborough's claim that "this Biden ... is the best Biden ever." You'll be claiming the sky is green next. Be opposed to him and his policies all you like, but claiming he has dementia is ridiculous.

If he was that bad off, who was actually running the country? That is a situation that should not have been allowed to happen, and should be guarded against in the future. If they were going to change candidates, it should have happened sooner. Kamala did not have enough time to campaign.

Then perhaps he was not prepared adequately. Sometimes when I watch these confirmation hearings I see that both sides tend to ask unreasonable questions of the nominees.
And some questions cannot be answered because the situation has never come up, so there's no legal precedent available.

Oh, by the way, I wasn't blaming Warren. I was trying to introduce a degree of reasonability. The meme had something to say that may not have been reasonable under the circumstances.

You seriously think Elizabeth Warren is going to give him the time to do this during the hearing? What is commonly done in hearings is when the question cannot be answered immediately, the witness will state he or she will research the question and get back to the questioner later. Not good enough?

ROFL! The Internal Revenue Code is approximately 2.4 million words long. You try coming up with an answer. My answer would be: give me about 2 hours. Assuming I had the code on my laptop and could perform a text search. Not even a Democrat could come up a quick answer to that question.

Sigh. Project 2025 was a program put out by the Heritage Foundation, not Trump. Trump's program was called Agenda 47. When asked, Trump said he did not agree with a number of Project 2025's proposals. No doubt his plan and Project 2025 agreed in some points, but they're not the same.

The Internal Revenue Code (IRC), is the federal statutory tax law in the United States. It is codified in statute as Title 26 of the United States Code. It's what the IRS follows, along with its regulations, in dealing with income and other taxes.

To be fair, Starmer has been trying to reverse Brexit so hard that he was bound to make Leavers very annoyed.

Oh, dear! It just happened yesterday -- so sad! I wasn't a viewer of Cheers, but what I did see him in was well done. He was so much a fixture on Cheers that Star Trek: Deep Space Nine created an homage to him in the person of the character "Morn," who was a barfly at Quark's bar.

Not sure. The Internal Revenue Code is incredibly complex (thanks in part to your fine efforts), so knowing everything in order to ask a very esoteric question immediately would be a stretch even for Joe Biden.

And... does that somehow mean that guns really do run around independently killing people?

Isn't Gomez that loon who tried to impeach Trump? And failed? Not sure he knows what he's talking about.

Why would I want to have sex with a woman who would gladly destroy my own child's life because of the inconvenience? I wouldn't touch such a woman with a ten-foot pole.

Interesting comment, given that the LDS church's position on family size is "The decision of how many children to have and when to have them is a private matter for a husband and wife."
Maybe "Mormon" women actually want to have children, ever think of that? My stepdaughter had six -- willingly.
