Others have noted this, but I think consumers are just generally sick of the billionaire class and are consciously or even subconsciously reducing their consumption in response. I know that I don’t even have an impulse to buy from companies whose CEOs were standing behind Trump 🤷🏻♀️

Perhaps, but celebrating those who have already gone out helps to build momentum. Making people feel ashamed for not “doing enough” creates unnecessary friction that slows down movements.

Tbh I do this as a leftist lol. But it’s because I think there are a lot of self-described leftists who are really just internet edge-lords lacking a fundamental understanding of leftist ideology, who therefore misrepresent leftism imho. I use quotes when I’m referring to them.
