Good idea! When I didn't have air-conditioning that's how I cooled down my dogs. I'd mist them all thoroughly then aim a portable fan at them. Or, sometimes I soaked a wash cloth in ice water and placed it on their tummies while they layed down in front of the fan.

Agree. I have 3 dehumidifiers. They are a must for eastern NC. My thermostat is set at 77° which feels surprisingly cool when the humidity is only at 50%.

I'm so thankful it went well for you Betsy! I know everyone says it's a piece of cake but there's always a risk involved with any surgery. You must be so relieved. I'd love to have my right hip done but I've been advised against it due to osteoporosis.
