Like I tell my team: if it's still working and can't be OpenCore Legacy patched for some reason, I can almost always make it useful as a Linux box. (E.g. I have a 21" iMac at work that I use as a dedicated Kali workstation for forensics)

I think when I finally replace it with an Apple silicon version (probably used from an e-cycler) this one will finally become the home music server. It's definitely showing its age for web browsing, but DVD playback is still great.
