The robot taxis lime the Waymos have lidar and radar, which teslas don't, and their software is set up to be far more Conservative and careful than teslas self driving. Its why they've been so prone to getting stuck in place in traffic cones and confused by people putting a traffic cone on them.

Because almost all that wealth is in assets in the US and could be seized leaving him with only what his family has, which is plenty don't get me wrong, but a far fall from richest man on earth. Also ego, musk loves adulation almost as much as trump, where else will be get it?

And the latest in a long line of suckers who looked at trump and thought, "Those other guys were rubes, he won't fuck me over."

I mean, that is just trump continuing a lifetime of behaviour that somehow still keeps catching people out. Musk was just the latest in a long line of marks who thought they'd be the first not to get shafted.

If I could change one thing about US culture, it would be this unshakeable and absolutely backward belief that life must be earned, and generating profit is how you earn it. Life is a human right. Profit must be earned, and those who want to earn it must respect human rights in order to do so.

It doesn't matter how much they lick the boot, it will never be enough.

The discourse has been weird for me. I've seen edges of it but have already blocked most of those involved and I've decided to trust past me's judgement and not unpick this thread.

Literally the only thing, the ONLY THING, they had to do was be better than the Tories. The bar was so low. And yet they chose to burrow down to its level.

And when it gets walked back the cult of Elon will push the price back up. Because he, somehow, is the only reason this company is worth more than a baked potato.

^This If anyone needs visual evidence just look up athletes from the 80s of pretty much any sport and compare how much older they look than their modern counterparts. And these were some of the fittest and healthiest people in the world at the time.

Reminds me a bit of when Vic Mignogia sued a woman for defamation when she accused him of assaulting her, then in his deposition demonstrated for the court just how he assaulted her...

That's because you either don't have a MAR coating or it doesn't have oiliophobic properties (is a cheap one, probably not cheap to you but was to the optician). Also, the t-shirt material made a big difference.
