i can see the finish line! just a couple tweaks here, and bug fixes there and the product is ready to ship.

onboarding completed. see, how easy that was with stripe? wasted 2 days trying to integrate something else just for the sake of integrating something else.

today's plan is simple: get the onboarding completed. sign-up, login, 2fa, emails.

Single .env with all relevant tokens, composer update and have a fully fleshed out, SaaS ready environment from the get go. And super easy to change or replace things. Adding multiple alternatives to each used tool as well (stripe+lemonsqueezy, Kinde+Clark+Google Auth, SES+mailgun+Resend, etc)

Simplify it. Use one bg color, high contrast controller button colours, remove the handbag handle, larger pixel squares, and lessen the width of the controller (it won't be to scale, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Actually, I'd pick the second icon with the first font.

Yeah, number 1. But a fixed alignment as the vertically centered text doesn't look right. Needs to be pushed down a couple pixels to be visually centered.

As a marketer, I agree. Building functional stuff has become increasingly easier. Marketing it, on the other hand, has become increasingly harder.

Legit 🔥 and free too? Probably already got dozens of monetisation ideas? Content generation, auto posting/dm'ing/replying, monitoring of accounts, etc? That would be amazing and worth paying for.

I wouldn't say they are better per se. Just geared towards most people's needs. Simplicity can work wonders, as few really need or want to set up custom dimensions and custom reportings, when all you really want to know of your new linkedin paid campaign drives traffic to your sign-up page 😜

Love Plausible. Love Umami self-hosted more ❤️

They absolutely do, but their organic search algo seems to be more "fair" and welcoming to SEO strategies.

Yes. 💯% but to set up the another boilerplate project, like the 50-ish before that makes me give up even before I start. And I like learning new things.

My main benefit was to start using one set of framework and then started coding in a way that lets me easily reuse it in other projects. Each project got easier, while each project also deepened my knowhow in some aspect. Stripe API, authentication, MJML, etc.
