"Oh so you like it when AOC rails against elites but you don't like it when RFK Jr. rails against elites?" is utterly brain dead and absolutely EVERYWHERE. AOC is right that inequality is bad and RFK Jr is wrong that vaccines are bad. It's not hypocritical to like one of them and not the other!!!

Johann Strauss II's waltz "The Blue Danube" brings me unreasonable amounts of joy (it's about 10 minutes long). However, my favorite classical music piece is Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky's Serenade in C for Strings, Opus 48. It's four movements that are about 30 minutes long altogether.

I also have a black beach rock pendant & a reddish river rock pendant from Washington. So I can wear pieces of my home state wherever I go, if & when I want to. There aren't a lot of gems from the state, actually. So I've wanted the Ellensburg blue pendant for a while because of that.

The funny thing about the Morgan Hill poppy jasper is that someone told me exactly where it came from. No one can get to it anymore because the city put up a fence, but someone gave me specific directions once to the location. Morgan Hill is like 10 miles south of San Jose.

Rock crystal (citrine, amethyst, etc), chalcedony (carnelian, chrysoprase, sardonyx, etc), & agate are all quartz. They're just formed differently, that's all. Quartz is the second most common rock on Earth. So never drop a lot of money on an amethyst or a citrine. They're only semiprecious gems.

Ellensburg is in central Washington State, for those that are curious, & this variety of rocks is only found there. The seller also threw in a random little bag of rocks for free, which includes a stretchy snowflake obsidian bracelet. That happens a lot when I buy stuff off Etsy, tho.
