That moment always felt like the end of RTD's first era- the Avengers Endgame of his era, if you will. Kinda felt like that should have happened at the very end.
Wish we'd have had a series with him and Martha post series 3. Freema Agyeman was amazing, and she deserved so much more.

I'm not a WWE shill, and yes, VKM made that company to the behemoth it is today: but the origins of that company come from the 1930's, with Ed Lewis (who legit went to prison for strangling people), Billy Sandow and Toots Mondt.

There is no being right when you have two canons in a show- and the reason why Chibnall wasn't great is because he messed with the wrong canon.
Enjoy the show for what it is- albeit RTD's current run has major issues I'd like to be able to sort.
