Exactly the poll numbers mean nothing. Most of the politicians on either side are not willing to risk their own power to go out on a limb. It is unfortunate that politicians have forgot they work for us and not the other way around. Would really love term limits for all political offices.

Had an interaction that turned out positive yesterday. I was called idiotic for my first comment, but instead of firing back in anger I restated my point with some more clarity and the individual was able to agree with what my original statement was saying. It was refreshing.

Just goes to show the level of cruelty they have in their hearts. Also displays a level of hopelessness they have for the world around them. I look at people and assume the best of intentions, they look at individuals who identify differently than themselves and always have worst case in mind.
