Shoutout to the friendly neighborhood elderly person who sprayed water on me walking back from my run when I opened my arms at him

Because of the amount of insects in this garden, I'm considering leaving the black widow I found alone. Maybe I'll even call her Matilda.

The clicky side buttons on the Pixel 9 are very satisfying to use.

🥰

Cookies and Creme Worgen

Really sucks to get that diplomatically-written email that basically says someone who you worked with almost every day got dismissed.

Quite happy with my new phone. Android has come a long way since I last used whatever buggy unstable mess version released with the Pixel 6.

maybe danellos gets to have nice things sometimes too

Letting go of resentment, whether justified or not, is probably one of the most difficult yet important things one can do. It's hard, really hard.

is this anything

It's spring again!

It was a bit harder to wake up this morning, but I couldn't let myself fall back into habits I am trying to do away with. The nap this afternoon helped

Let's normalize talking to our friends and working our issues out in private before we spur needless infighting and ostracization in our fringe communities.

I love chickpeas dude

Leggies sore!

Something interesting l learned in my gardening journey is rosemary kinda prefers dry soil. While overwatering doesn't kill them, it does slow down their growth

Cooked clam spaghetti tonight and I'm super happy with the flavor! Just needs more clams :3

Aaaah yes AI hallucinations. German Thyme and English Thyme are actually distinctly different from one another.

The problem with folks who suffer from chronic overthinking is 99% of the problems they "anticipate" don't occur, but the one time it does, it retroactively confirms every single one of their fears and reinforces bad thinking patterns. It is an obsessive attempt to control the unknown.

Though I've grown to embrace hot weather, I am happy for the brief reprieve tomorrow.

There are ladybugs in my garden 🥰 🐞

"I'm suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person." -- this has honestly been true for most interactions I've had in my life.

Some really exciting things happening in the 11.2 patch (WoW). Yes the story's conclusion is a little bit predictable, but this is Blizzard's writers returning to form. Its just damn cool.

"Mainstream media and mainstream science are two sides of the same coin, Ron"—some random radio station on GTA 5. Bro, this game came out in 2013.

Not the biggest issue right now, but Dutch continues to not be a serious language

Are we repeating the 2000s. Are we really that bored as a civilization.

tapping the "i dont give a shit what elon tweeted fuck off with the screenshot commentary" sign again

My happy place is the gardening section at Home Depot

I never actually finished the GTA V story. I did the first few missions back when it came out for PC, but then played the Online mode with friends. Moved to the US not long after and it fell off my radar. Been finally getting around to that. It really is... very good.

I almost never eat kale, yet for some random reason, this week I had a very specific craving for kale. It bugged me all week until finally I included some in my grocery list. I am munching on these like a rabbit

Very much happy with my new sleep schedule. One great side effect is it actually helped my ADHD. The early mornings being so peaceful, quiet, and free of distractions really gives me the head start I need to my days--with less cortisol too.

So many things growing outside!!

My dumbass forgot that today we had time off from work so I've been working since early this morning D:

Body woke me up naturally before 6AM again, despite going to bed a little later than I should've. Think maybe I've finally done it :3

Later today I finish another one of my planters. Its easy to assemble but sometimes I get a little distracted lol It will be filled with basil! Three kinds!

Weh.

My plants survived the hailstorm.

Undocked and uncropped Dobermans are so fricken beautiful. Their big floppy ears give them so much more personality and allow them to express themselves better too

Welp, rip my plants the hail started coming down.
