I feel like this is the biggest risk to RM's recent "sign players on a free with super high wages" strategy. Leads to an internal arms race when trying to re-up players. Any savings they get from not paying xfer fees might go into these obscene wage bills.

Yeah, I hope they unify it on the website and even the main NYT app. The disjointed nature of it isn't optimal.
