I have been saying the same thing ... If someone shoots and kills an ICE agent or 20, then cites 2A as the justification, will Trump pardon them? Will Justice Thomas find this consistent with "the history and tradition of American firearm regulation"?

The question conservatives should be asking is why so few conservatives seem to go into psychotherapy. But they might not like the answer.

As I have said before, we must not let ourselves flinch from the things we must do. We must be willing to sentence many people to years at hard labor, sunup to sunset, in northern Alaska for ten ounces of bread and a bowl of soup per day. For starters.

Honestly a good idea ... It would have a stronger chance of passing if it were extended to all members of Congress and federal judges. Should be on the Democratic platform next year.

Or "people who should have been shipped off to work camps in northern Alaska after the war"

I wrote that back in November. I see no reason to change it now.

You need to show the whole Ballard quote ...

Those we do not feel like wasting bullets on should be sent up to camps in northern Alaska to work from sunup to sundown for ten ounces of bread a day. Or invited to leave the country, renounce their citizenship and never return.

We need to carry out a national purge. Summary executions under martial law. People unceremoniously shot in the back of the head. Buried face down with their hands tied behind their backs in unmarked graves deep in the woods. 1/

Are we sure that bump was a catheter? I've read a good take that *they* were actually foot drop braces (probably a worse thing, actually).

You know, if we are serious about lamenting fake news and propaganda, can we stop talking about Vance and the couch because as we all know that was completely made up ... Especially when there are worse things you can say about him that are totally true.

What apparently hasn't been reported much is the role Meta played in lobbying for that law, though. That's why Congress isn't pushing the issue too much.

Didn't Kingsley Amis write a poem on basically that same theme?

Is there anything we can say that can get the officers responding to shoot the ICE guy?

With the more important corollary that no inspection-ready unit has *ever* passed combat ...

Since it's also Flag Day, that's great!

And that practice was continued by right-wing skinhead groups marching through immigrant neighborhoods in European cities in the 1970s ...

Getting all the other passengers' miles (which honestly should go to their heirs) sounds like that old college legend that if your roommate died during the semester, you got an automatic 4.0 (or whatever the top of the GPA scale was).

As one of the Murphy's Laws of Combat ably puts it, "The diversion you are ignoring is the main attack".

*Recently*? *Quit*? Word is that anyone who wants/needs a meeting with Kegseth in the Pentagon has been advised to schedule it before noon if at all possible ...
comment in response to post
That might explain why the administration made Kegseth cancel his trip to Israel a few weeks back and go along with Trump to Saudi Arabia ...

Because Trump doesn't respect Bibi (actually not a bad thing in itself) and they've noticed over there.

"All the miles" ... you mean the miles for *every other passenger* as well? I wonder if he's thinking to himself that he really should have bought a lottery ticket before boarding, as well ...
