Language, art and literature store information like a hologram. Each piece has all the others embedded in it. It is a totality, where the parts unspoken reinforce the parts spoken. Because readers and listeners know what you mean.

You can think about what you want to write for 4 hours and put it all on paper in 45 minutes. Or you can begin from a dead start and spend 4 hours trying to put it on paper.

Writing is not the stringing together of words. It is the communication of ideas. AI doesn't have any ideas of its own.

She makes it sound like the Marines are going to remove Newsom from office. Is that really the plan? Are the Marines really going to go along with this?

If it were working well in California, you wouldn't be sending in the Marines ... to stand around waiting to get certified to violate posse comitatus.

Does Trump know that drones have made tanks obsolete? Or is it that a parade of drones isn't scary ... unless it's choreographed by those people from America's Got Talent.

AOC's critics are just sad that they don't know how to pour a beer, mix a drink, talk to a drunk, graduate from BU with honors, or get elected to Congress.

It means to dump your drinks and leave. Nothing about it implies or suggests violence. Comey will own the DOJ if they prosecute. Also see Elonis v. United States, 575 U.S. 723 (2015). Supreme Freakin' Court says you have to prove intent (mens rea).

The term comes from Chumley's bar in New York City, a speakeasy during Prohibition where socialists, writers, artists, and others hung out. "86" as a verb meant to leave through the 86 Bedford St. door instead of the one the cops would be coming through in a few minutes.
