Losing the research hub to New York really sucked.

Online play is well done and very chaotic. Was cool getting to play with the Kinda Funny crew on launch day. Didn’t win but at least I beat @gameovergreggy.bsky.social a couple times and knocked @blessingjr.bsky.social far out of first with a good blue shell

Also PBOT’s own survey data showed that people like and want this plaza. How was this decision made?

Are you guys going to do a state of play prediction now?

I agree that it should be smaller but also it wouldn't be quite as bad to get through on bike if they didn't have the planters and cones there. It wasn't as bad before.

The size is one thing and I think that’s a valid point of contention but the walls and roof make the outdoor dining both better and more viable to keep year round. Also I’ve seen walls come down at other outdoor dining spots not along the “public street plaza”

Yeah this doesn’t contradict what I said

Do it! Troutdale is pretty nice. I really liked living there.

This is what was proposed in the mayor's budget. 24/25 is at $308m The proposed for 25/26 was $318m. Morillo 01 amends that to move $2m to park maintenance meaning 25/26 would be $316m. Police are going to have the largest budget they have ever had.

So while a lot of people have been saying they are cutting the police budget to give it to parks that isn't really what happened. The amendment does take $2m from the proposed police budget but that proposed budget was like $10m higher than the current spending. Police budget is going up not down

Yeah I’ve been really frustrated by how many people are being misleading by saying they “cut” police budget when it’s going up still. Agreeing or disagreeing with a decision is whatever but let’s be honest about what’s happening.

Feels like they should have done a couple tiers of code to adopt so the cities can adopt what they want and are equipped to deal with
comment in response to post
I just watched it. I'm kind of frustrated they are doing 4 stories max due to some cities not having equipment/capabilities to fight fires up to 6 when the local government has to adopt it anyway. I'll take whatever progress we can get but IDK if one extra story will be the difference maker
