Stegners Wahlkreis hat scheinbar kein Verständnis für seine ständiges argumentieren gegen die Ukrainehilfen: sein Direktmandat hat er verloren. Nur der Platz auf der Landesliste hat ihm sein Amt gerettet. Stegners Einfluss in der @spdde.bsky.social macht die Partei für mich unwählbar.

I think yes, conditional on "recklessness" being defined appropriately. The bar should be higher for cyclists, but once it is crossed, the same rules should apply. Do you not think it is the disregard for others' safety that matters?

Not sure whether life is too high or not. But I think applying the same rules to cyclists as to drivers seems fair.

If I understood the article correctly, it is about reckless driving, i.e., "intentionally driving in a manner that disregards safety and the rights of others, creating a significant risk of accidents." If that leads to the death of a person, the current max of 2 years in jail seems too short to me.

Wo liegen hier die falschen Anreize? Hausaerzte haben ja keine MRTs bei sich rumstehen - geht es hier eher um Bluttests, EKGs, etc., die man lieber selber durchfuehren (und abrechnen) moechte?
