My MP absolutely did the right thing. I talked to a cabbie the other day and he was stoically talking more work to support his disabled mum due to the cuts. This is profoundly unfair and won’t get anyone back to work, just push people that work into poverty.

Please add your voice to the >16000 people who have emailed their MPs asking, begging, them to fully decriminalise abortion by backing NC20. This moment may not come again

Those free speech lovers at the Daily Mail are busy wasting public money trying to get Councils to take down Pride Flags. What pathetic losers. goodlaw.social/ylbu

I actually kinda dislike the framing of "bubble" or "echo chambers" because it implies a lack of access or knowledge of other viewpoints. That's not true. I think a more accurate framing is that different sites have different *cultures*. And... that's kind of normal.

Also, the 5G icon on your phone is lying to you, with London being a particularly bad case of it due to our decaying network. www.londoncentric.media/p/real-5g-co...

If I wanted to downgrade my New York Times subscription from everything to just games, it actually costs 50¢ more per week. The news part of nytimes dot com is worth negative fifty cents per week. They pay me to suffer its existence.

When I heard the mom of a trans girl say the night her daughter came out to her was the first time she'd ever seen her child happy, I knew it was a story I needed to share. These are the stories the public isn't hearing. An honor to get to report on 3 family's journeys for @teenvogue.com.

You just met someone, and you want a secret chat you can trust. There’s a Germ DM for that.

And this continuous decline from 2019-2020 to now is exactly concurrent with the emergence and rise of state-level anti-trans campaigns and trans youth care bans. There is a general factor of shared anti-trans and anti-gay sentiment that animates this, and there is no separating the LGB from the T

I have emailed my MP and asked them to support this amendment. The link below makes it incredibly easy to do the same, and if you are a UK resident I very strongly encourage you to do so. Abortion is critical healthcare and we must decriminalise it NOW.

Any British journalist worth their salt – very few unfortunately – must ask which specific rights are Farage, Bedenoch, or Starmer going to remove from British people once we leave the ECHR? Life? Freedom from torture? Freedom from slavery? Expression? Assembly? Religion? Or maybe privacy?

Far right logic

Complaining that you can move freely after being arrested is peak child behaviour

British politics doesn’t reward copycat parties. If Labour adopts Reform’s populism to chase their success, they’ll just validate their agenda while looking reactive. Why choose the imitation over the original that’s actually winning? Meanwhile, Labour loses supporters who reject authoritarianism.

I Kissed A Girl is coming back for season two – and you can apply to take part

Alphabet (aka Google) and YouTube are horrible companies that made homophobia & transphobia possible again. They are uniquely evil among the tech giants followed closely only by Meta. I hope one day they all go bankrupt and their business gets nationalised.

Just a reminder that the right is everything they accuse the left of being.

Labour’s math isn’t mathing. Even if they get every voter lost to Reform back, the amount of voters they lost to the Greens & the LibDems is so large that they’ll never win another election again. They are treating this as a policy fight while it’s an ideological one.

We must expose this intellectually bankrupt movement for the unpatriotic sellouts they are. Whether it’s American capital or Russian dictators, Farage’s only goal is to trade the country to a foreign power so he can relax with a cocktail on a Florida beach.

I’m so done with the Labour Party, absolutely useless lot. They are literally opening the gates for Farage and the far right in a way the Tories never did. At this point I might have as well voted Conservative, worst I was going to get is the same but not as bad.

When the right wins: they make sure to destroy any progressive pov, capture the media, ban any speech that disagrees and constantly harass the opposition. When the left wins: “we must make sure the right has easier time eradicating us”
