It is straight up a complete and utter brazen lie that they aren't taking away our rights, or that it only affects trans people with a GRC. They are literally proposing a complete bathroom ban for all trans people in all areas of life, which is something we've never had at all in any shape or form

This is the dumbest government in history, period

For a society that prides itself on cautious conservatism, it’s wild how prevalent gambling is in the UK 😆

I fear that Trump started something that will fester and bare very ugly fruits 60 years from now

Maybe it’s time to enshrine bodily autonomy as a fundamental right?

It kind of sucks that the only way not to get mugged is for the thief to try steal Al Capone’s wallet though

Dustin is a nice person, but I would really question the wisdom of trading the absolute crushing dominance the US has in the services industry and high end manufacturing and design so it can make grill cleaning brushes domestically.

Disregard this at your own peril. If you don’t believe me, just ask the Liberals how did copying Labour’s platform worked for them.

Instead, Labour should lean into what actually differentiates them: democratic pluralism vs Reform’s authoritarianism, competent governance vs populist disruption, inclusive institutions vs strongman politics. Make the choice about values and capability, not just policy.

Labour’s right wing – Blue Labour – are basically Tories. They are socially conservative and economically left wing. They are more or less British MAGA but without the cult of personality around Trump.

The LibDems are the party of policy wonks. If you want a detailed policy for dealing with a problem, you vote for them. They are not particularly right on any issue, but they are not a leftist party either. Social democrats describes them well. They would mostly align with Labour’s centrist wing

Btw, if you notice in these graphs the majority of bleeding from Labour went to the Greens & LibDems

I’m moving in a month and in my new constituency they are the second largest party. Although Labour leads the Greens need to get only 4500 votes from them to win. That’s not a small number but not impossible to achieve for 2029

Although I see virtually identical articles on the left all the time, I haven’t seen one such piece on the right where group think is not only accepted, it’s encouraged. The result is the right constantly wins and points to these empty critiques as proof the left is broken.
