Very sad he didn't end on "because you should know how to spell your next Mayor's name"

In what way does he hate jews?

Usually that's flipped lol. My american friend who went to durham got asked by his friend from colorado whether he could crash at his dorm for a trip to london.

it does remind me of when fox news tries to claim that the UK has muslim only areas which amount to "an image of a local mosque in birmingham"

As a brit and observer, its been very weird watching them try this in what essentially amounts to a megacity. Thank god for fascist fecklessness and incompetence eh.

Like ideologically our fascists are quite different from theirs.

Fascism's on the rise in europe and also trump wouldnt be elected in the UK

I am a highly informed voter and wouldnt have bothered to vote in my council election even had I been able. You are basing huge amounts of judgement calls on a faulty sample.

You have a disdain for far too many people and believe they have hatreds that aren't there. We elected the tories, there's no need to be terrified of people voting for trump that's sufficiently terrifying enough.

Council elections have an average turnout of 20%. You are a moron. Farage is a fascist, he may well even become PM, he will never approach even 40% of the popular vote in the UK.

You have been presented with clear evidence to the contrary. People in europe are by and large pretty well informed on the US. And capable of assessing trump for what he is. There's no need for doom and gloom, we have our own fascists who don't appeal in the way Trump does.

Starmer's a right wing stooge but you're simply being dumb if you think trumpianism is widely supported in the UK. Nobody thinks "it can't happen here" clearly it can. The forms it takes are different.

Bro in what universe do you think a substantial number of europeans find trumpianism appealling? Don't get me wrong, we have lots of very popular fascists, but they do not run like trump does. The average racist european is much further to the left than the gun toting freedom lovers of america.

If you enjoy the third act of Sunshine I strongly recommend the blank check podcast episode on it. They love it too.

The ban on asylum seekers working is a failed New Labour era policy designed to manage public opposition to free movement that just ruins towns. A terrible appendix in our system.

You seem to yearn for them to do that. The Trump admin are evil fascists vastly overplaying their hand. Everyone ought to be organising against them but they simply cannot institute the kinds of repressive hitlerite fascism without overcoming boring logistical and institutional constraints.

...They are nowhere close to achieving the kind of repressive fascism people know that they want. It is important to remember the distinction.
