I agree that there should be transparency but there won’t be. Anyway by the time this plane would be ready the two planes being built by Boeing will be ready. Their delay is trumps fault too during his first term.

How the hell is this saving taxpayers money? If he does take it we have to pay to upgrade it (est. $1.2 billion) and maintain it. Also by the time it’s refurbished the two already being built will be ready. It’s a big waste and a huge grift.

Funny thing is is that he partly caused the delays when he “negotiated “ for a better price. They decided to take two already built 747/800s and modify them. They will not have some of the functionality of the originally planned planes or the current ones. For example mid-air refueling not possible
