We could have waffles with writing in heat activated ink. Toast the waffle, read the story. Then add syrup. Or powdered sugar and fruit. Really, the choice is yours.

When I was little, my mom would put me in a wooden playpen in the front yard, in just a diaper, with a piece of black licorice. An hour later, she’d take the hose and rinse me off before taking me in. Love black licorice to this day.

Interesting article. While I wish that the Superfund designation would change the results, I don’t think it will. I live in an area with several superfunds, and cleaning them up will be no small task.

I’m in a clinical trial. I keep waiting to be told it has been cancelled. I’m lucky, because I’ve already done the chemo, surgery, and radiation. Mine is the 5 year pills. Still, it is a scary time to need medical care. Sympathy to your friend.

At the moment, I’m a librarian. No clue how long that’s going to last. But, while I can, I’ll continue educating people about spotting fake news, researching both sides of an issue, providing access to information, and whatever else I can think of.
