Just realised Ryan Mason is the first Albion boss of my lifetime who is younger than me. One of a few things making me feel older of late!

The Albion hierarchy need to now make it clear to the squad that Mason is their long term choice, and that this isn’t just another boss to see off after half a season. Those that have already got through several head coaches need axing pronto #WBA

PSG winning the CL feels no different to it being won by Real Madrid, City, or Chelsea. They’re all super rich clubs and all thoroughly dislikable for how they achieved it. No point clamming up about this victory tonight if you didn’t feel the same about when those clubs won it too.

Looks like it’ll be Ryan Mason for Albion then, according to the Perce. A young head coach who’ll learn on the job with, hopefully, a young team - if we can cast out some of the old guard (🙏🏻). It’ll need time, patience, and no expectations of immediate success to work. Good luck, Ryan #WBA

That was the most un-Spurs like performance I can remember. Ange morphed into Simeone tonight. It made for one of the most tedious finals I’ve ever seen (that and United’s utter lack of quality or brains) but it worked and that’s all that matters. Well done Spurs.

What a miserable half that was. Even the goal was absolute shit. Totally understand however that Spurs will take any which way to bag a trophy. United are so flat, Amorim is a dogmatic manager and in the end it’ll bring him down.

Cheerio Swift and Diangana. I don’t wish them ill, they had their moments for Albion, and both are naturally talented players. I won’t miss them slowing play down, failing to connect with team mates, or losing duels all the bloody time however. Poor ROI from both, for sure.

Semi automated offside still takes too long. Any VAR decision that requires a minute, at the absolute maximum, is not correcting a clear and obvious mistake and therefore the on-field decision should stand, no matter if it is ultimately correct or not.
