Loved Emil from his very first shift. Will miss him playing 100% every shift but our D is pretty terrible at shutting down teams and I have no doubt wouldn't make the play offs again without bringing in some actual class D men. I'm gutted but I know it's for the best. I hope he flies with the NYI.

Evans was so good as Cap. Mackie is just poor. Having Bucky as Cap made more sense with the arm and shield, a non super being just isn't working. Trying to make filler characters leads isn't working. The vast majority of watchers never read comics, we don't care about the Falcon.

Everyone seems to want Florian in the side, myself included but if Marty cannot swallow Arbers penalty minutes can anyone explain how he will put up with Florians? How do we get more sandpaper in the team without them ending up nailed to the bench?

Totally agree but do you think Marty won't have a problem with Florians penalty minutes the way he's taken Arber to the vets to be neutered? Did Arber need to play smarter, sure but he plays in fear of our own bench rather than the opposition.

So many people seem to think he will sign a team friendly deal for 6-7m especially on twatter. They are absolutely deluded. Unless he wants a short deal his agent shouldn't let him sell himself for less than 9m when you look at other recent deal. Franchise player doesn't sign for 7m.

Newhook will be fine and get 20+ as a 2nd line winger with Demidov if we get a half decent 2C. For me they also have to get Hutson working on his shot because that's a large part of the reason our powerplay is so predictable. Everyone knows his 60mph shot isn't a threat from the point.

We are too nice, nice young men. People overplayed the Xhekaj affect. He has no effect when he’s not allowed to play the game as he did in his first season. If this is the game they want him to play, trade him.

We didn't play cheap enough. We need players that will. Xhekaj lifted them for one game and then nothing. Two players scrapped hard enough. The Tiny D man and Anderson.

We need more shit disturbers. Forecheck was soft and the Xhekaj myth is just that. But we got much further than we ever thought but I'm far from convinced we even make the playoffs next year without some shedding in the D.

Just finished the game after getting up at 5am before work, so I'm a bit madder than usual. Blaming Evans when the forecheck was non existent. The only fight was in our midget DMan. We need more shit disturbers, can we now put the Xhekaj myth to bed. They played big for one game with him in the side

Yeah watched all his tv and used to listen to his podcast all the time. Often remind my son that he struggled with Maths until he grew up, focused and put the reps in. Saw him live last year the stage show was excellent. Big fans in this household!

My first experience of Habs play off hockey and watching previous years I’ve been neutral so it’s gone over my head but how can a sport have completely different but unknown limits when it gets to the cup. It just gives opportunity for refs to control the outcome. Does any other sport do this?

Even before the play offs Anderson was my player of the season. I just love how he's gone from the literal scrapheap with zero confidence to someone I'd hate to lose. He was doing so much on his own with Arber out. Sure he doesn't have the skill of others but he's rode out an awful season in 23-24.

All I hear is Struble has the Greek God physique, yet he plays so soft. They needed him to step up and nothing. I don't expect him to fight, but use that body ffs. This isn't an Arber thing, I get he's lower risk but he's also anonymous when the physical game steps up.

Only if they then intended to trade the one they considered the worse prospect of the two. You can’t have two tiny D. Trade value would be high but you would still have to play them both.

And only the sens strengthened? Even if the Habs get in I don’t think they have played good hockey for anything more than a period per game. Sometimes that’s been enough. Yesterday it wasn’t.

Yeah but he has a good one timer on the powerplay! I'm done with him. Sit him on the 3rd line and 1st unit and lets pretend Cole wouldn't have scored or anyone else on the power play. Yes I'm bitter that Cole won't get 40 because of that ****ing sandbag.
