Batman is really cool and all, but he should never be written as the absolute smartest character in the DCU. He may be the smartest guy whose ass-kicking terrifies foes, but Lex Luthor and Mr. Terrific are both smarter than Bruce (in the traditional sense).

As I just said on CNN, I’m not going to take any money from Elon Musk, a man who did a Hitler salute. It’s astounding that some Democrats won’t say the same. secure.actblue.com/donate/abu-bluesky?refcode=cnn

The best people to talk to about any subject are folks who value the history behind that subject. Those who dismiss old things on the basis of being old are lame, childish, incurious, uninteresting, and prone to selfish attitudes.

REFUSE TO LOOK AWAY as people get disappeared in America. Say their names! Tell Trump you can't disappear people in a democracy - and march with us June 14 when we loudly proclaim the U.S. has NO KINGS!

The high-information internet age we live in has really retrospectively colored how we talk about pop culture history. Growing up as a millennial or younger in the United States, you'd think AC/DC were this enormous band during the 1970s with the way folks talk about Bon Scott... (continued)

This clip is insane. But nothing I've seen reveals better his psychotic relationship with members of the press. High points include: The "I'm intimidating you now" face. His insistence that Terry Moran concede the point OR ELSE. His love for the hate object they become in his hands And a lot more.

I love “heavy metal” music mainly by the 1982 definition of the term, and it’s frustrating the erasure the original genre has undergone. I get that we have more extreme variants of “metal” in the post-thrash years, but that doesn’t mean Scorpions/UFO/Judas Priest are retroactively deemed less-than.

Style of this feels very Y2K era. I figured it wasn't the final official logo, but I honestly would welcome it as a throwback.

JB gets it. We need to be a party that welcomes young people and new ideas if we want to not only win, but help the people. Let's get to work!

Every retrospective documentary should have Vince Gilligan chime in.

Early Pantera from the eighties actually sounds pretty sweet, it’s just buried under noisy production and bootleg vinyl-to-CD audio. They should just learn to embrace those years and remaster that material.

The rise of grunge is the most tired narrative in music history. I like the music, but I don’t appreciate the endless circlejerk about how all rock must’ve sucked before Nirvana. Reinforces a snooty, self-righteous, dismissive attitude about music.
