Thanks, I have had the thought before and this art really fits with the horror angle. If they really want to commit, DC can end the event in a place where consequences in the DCU really finally stick moving forward. When the event wraps, maybe the only being to overcome the inevitable is Superman.

DC's "Inevitable" event. Characters who have met a drastic end in-continuity that have since been retconned are now being pursued by an inevitable force. For characters like Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, and even Superman, the past is catching up to them in the form of a nightmarish dimensional parasite.

But the reality is, the 'Dirty Deeds' album wasn't released until 1981 stateside. The song 'Jailbreak' wasn't available until 1984. And 'Highway to Hell' sold its lion's share of copies through 1980-1981 alongside the success of 'Back in Black'. Culturally, this band was barely a blip in '70s USA.

But I appreciate these movies nonetheless! And I appreciate you sharing, too.

I definitely disagree with several of these, and it partly feels like it could double as a list of classic giallo… But to be fair, giallo does often strike me as obtuse in its storytelling. There is usually a story present, just doesn’t always connect so easy with my American sensibilities.

Perfectly cast as a key villain in the Yacht Rock web series.

I agree with JB Pritzker’s sentiments in the ticker at the bottom. Not sure why it’s blurred out.

These are heavy metal bands, without question. Might they also be considered hard rock? Sure, at times. Lot of crossover there. But it seems communities tend to form around traditional “classic rock” OR “hair metal” OR “modern metal”. The original HEAVY METAL term is fading to missing link status.
