Some numbers? Even the #EU's own research arm acknowledges that a fifth or so ends up in landowners' accounts. The true number is probably a lot higher. A study from Bavaria found that for grassland, 80-95% ends up with landowners.

Got any theories? Cos I'm baffled. So many people including myself questioning if we could vote for them again. If they're relying on people's "have to vote labour to stop reform" urge, seems tenuous.

Somehow we are taking the 'opportunity' presented by the attack on the US higher education sector and making ourselves substantially less attractive. I cannot believe the sheer amateur hour nature of this, just because Labour got scared about a few polls and the local elections.

I'm sure they'll sell this to themselves in No.10 as killing populism. It'll do no such thing. He is sacrificing the single greatest electoral and political opportunity he had: to stand up in four years time and show people that serious government works.
