I have to be honest I just laughed my ass off and said, well we saw that coming. When you don’t care about results everything‘s a game of distraction.

How the fuck do they even have a budget without congressional approval 🤬😩

This is the real test. If they just continue to do things that courts order them not to do we’ve crossed over a very bright line. 😓

Maybe we should hire them to be you know members of congress 🤔

They put these three (RFK) all up at the same time for exactly the reason that none of us will know which one is craziest, or which one will slip by or which one will not make it if any.

One thing to keep in mind. The true believers think of any abortion as the murder of an infant and nothing you can say will change their mind. That’s who you’re dealing with.

How long until he gets his own Faux news show? These people are horrible.

Wait, I thought you didn’t like “scolds”

“Tacitly inane” we hope. I think the court will not go this far I’m starting to worry about the final move on Trump’s part, just saying “so what, who’s actually going to stop me now.”

Make good trouble with whatever wrench 🔧 you can throw in the works.

I like “Bell of the fifth column” straight news and information, just a tiny bit of snark.

Mmmm have you met republican house members?

Like so many things in our constitution and our system, there was a great dependence on people being honorable or at least being held account when they weren’t. All it took was for somebody to say oh I can do this.

Two few people recognize that we are well passed don’t be rude. In fact, we need more people to be rude when speaking the truth. We should indeed be rude to those who wish to do great harm to our constitution.

Aw shit it looks like I’m only saying it’s the best car I’ve ever owned that was made in Detroit. That’s not what I was meaning I meant it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

F-150 Lightning is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned made in Detroit. Just to be completely honest, the software could be a little better lol. But the truck is unbelievably good.

His tax cut gave them hundreds of millions of dollars every year. they’re not about to go back on that.

Also if you have an actual conversation ask them what their line is, or if they have one. Get them to confront the idea without accusing them of anything. “Is it rounding up gay citizens?” “Is it imprisoning the press?” “Is it political execution?”

Alongside the mocking and laughter make sure you point out the facts and the lies. Even if you think it doesn’t matter, it does. It’s like flat earth’er’s you point out the obvious facts then laugh and say “ but you do you.” Because it’s usually pointless to argue further.

I think this egg thing completely misunderstands the way it feels to live on less than $40k in America. And that misunderstanding is why 90 million people didn’t vote. People lost faith in the system years ago and have been begging for structural change ever since.

I know this just made me wanna vomit.

The show Doom Patrol has a story line that is an homage to the Dada movement.

It will be interesting to see the blowback from this. It’s easy to just sort of shake your head and say oh it’s just a bunch of TikTokers. My response is no it’s 175 million TikTokers.

It caught what it thought was a Regan cold 1980, got worse in the 90s with Gingrich syndrome which weakened the immune system and caused Trump cancer. It’s metastatic and has spread through the system.

Every time I see one of these, I think I just wish we’d pay for social media so that it’s a product and we aren’t.

I understand that. I’ve worked my entire life for a better world only to watch it pissed away. There’s a difference between the collective we and the actions of I. I and I’m sure you fought hard to prevent this. However, we as a collective American people failed.
comment in response to post
Personally I don’t want to let the American people off the hook. Like it or not this is our collective fault.

Yes we can bend space and control gravity but we want to spy on New Jersey with shitty little drones.

Everyone I talk to who voted for Obama and then trump has one thing in common: an outright rejection of the establishment. Perception is always more important than reality in politics. We’re still unable to shake off the chains of the past enough that the people will actually believe us.
