What a slap in the face to Red Sox fans, play anywhere?? Where was this attitude when the Red Sox needed it? He is a coddled child! Grow up Raffy !

He will be even more impressive when he starts driving the ball like in AAA. The kid will be special

Dobbins isn’t getting enough credit for what he has accomplished so far. Very impressive for a rookie, unfazed by any situation. Bello could take a lesson from this.

That was a superb at bat, great to see Story hitting fastballs and turning on inside pitches too.

I can’t wait for the challenge system on balls and strikes.

The way he was throwing I respectfully disagree . If the kid can’t go six then what do we have??? It’s not like he was struggling at all. The second home run he gave up was an out in most parks. Two bad pitches all night.

Huge important swing as Rodon was cruising. That turned the tide, imo.

THAT was a beautiful piece of hitting on that inside fastball getting the barrel out in front, very impressive.

Stock has no place in MLB, that was incredibly frustrating. If a pitcher can’t be trusted to hold a six run lead he should not be in the majors.
The problem is though that Dobbins could have pitched the sixth with the way he was throwing the ball. He made two bad pitches all night.

I watched Andor last night and thought the very same thing.

I think you are right. He should head to Tampa after the game today. We will see.

Almost every player on this team hustles out of the box to first. I am not sure why Raffy feels he doesn’t have to.Good hitter, poor ballplayer.

He should keep his mouth shut instead of giving the Yankees more incentive to beat him. Not a smart move by the rookie. I hope he has a good start as, again, we used our pen for three innings.

He was better with this earlier in the season. I have seen him jog out ground balls for several years now without any repercussions, a very bad look.

And even with a perfect throw he does not get him. The kid has a hard time learning…. Put the tying run on second base trying to play hero ball.

Tonight after Beuhler throws over 30 pitches and needs a rest he swings at the FIRST PITCH, good God , any major leaguer KNOWS you need to take a pitch or even two to give your exhausted pitcher a breather. Truly dumb at bat popping up on that first pitch.

Name one pitcher who Bailey has helped improve? I was a fan of the move but this is brutal. Our pitching staff is digressing before our eyes.

Several things that Jarren did today that don’t get talked about enough. Several times holding runners to singles that are more often doubles with perfect throws to second base. Driving the ball to left consistently and that walk was a game changer.
Much that he does do not show up in box scores

Really good at bat to go down and get that ball in the air . Toro has given us some very productive and professional at bats. At this point he should be in the lineup daily.

Rafaela has been doing well lately yet how many times does he get himself out when he should have either walked or taken bad pitches out of the zone?
