Each was mid-arc of their own battle to be their best selves. To each there was a before, and an after. We all identified, if not with each individual, with the struggles of each as they struggled through.
That movie made me more human by letting me find a piece of my self in each. Including Carl.

Among the PB, MB and OB bumper stickers, the "There Is No Life East of I-5" stickers spoke nicely for all three!

We just bombed a country in the Middle East based upon lies. Please be specific when mentioning Halliburton on social media. Same for Blackwater and Triple Canopy mentions.

Much respect and thanks for a respectful conversation here!
I'm just so heatbroken at so many things. My local public radio and tv @opb.org has been pretty solid but some of the national reporting I've experienced from @npr.org makes me question my lifetime of membership donations.

It’s favoring war porn over war policy. The only reason these weapons of mass death have these names is for marketing more war and death.
@npr is participating in this conversation using the marketing devices of the war mongers.
We don’t need brand name of bombs to know that using them is wrong.

Thank you!
I still feel like @npr.org is a little too horny to say phrases like “bunker buster“ instead of focusing attention on where it needs to be.
This is a war of choice based on false premises and lies .
Next up on @npr, the MOAB, mother of all bombs. Is it the bomb to end all bombs?

Where's the story from @npr.org that asks the question "Why is this administration starting another war in the Middle East on false assertions, premises and promises?"
His own administration does not agree on the facts and the rest of know the premise is false.

@leahsottile.bsky.social has a surperb series on the OKC bombing. Throughly researched, then weaved into story telling like only Leah can do.

My child was put in jail for protesting what was happening in other countries. Along with dozens of others at what was a small protest in the midst of many other larger ones.
If all these, and the others that didn't get arrested, were Harris voters, she just might have won. Maybe.

You're right, I phucked up the phrasing. Harris didn't get the vote because of the lack of a clear message that the Biden policy of arming the genocide would end on the day she was elected. This was a young voter who is extremely online and engaged.
I called BS on it but it was a large block.
comment in response to

The voter closest to me that Biden didn’t get was because of his tax support for the regime in Israel and their genocide. There was no other reason. If that policy has been different that would’ve been one more vote for Biden.
