I flipping love Big Ange.

Imagine actually attempting to do this without causing yourself permanent injury...

I loved that line from Ange's press conference that "this one is for the true believers." You (we) never gave up believing in the team, despite the doubters (on every side). For that, we get to enjoy this even more.

Honestly, I think it's great that all the players get medals. they are all part of the journey.

"The trouble with Ange is that he only has one way of playing..." ๐Ÿ˜‰

I reckon all of this feeds nicely into his pre-match speech to the lads.

And did he...?

Make him Captain.

It was very easy for Chelsea to play through the forward lines, less so for our defence.

It was very clear from watching the game yesterday that the players were not pressing in the way we would expect. Solanke seemed to be, but he wasn't properly supported by the wider players. I saw Ange shouting at right-sided players in the 1st half - perhaps Odobert wasn't doing his part?

The Grease mega mix. I shudder thinking about it.

Ha ha, indeed! I just think the omission of forward-thinking defenders and holding midfielders really slows the build up. I'm hoping for a difference when Romero or Van de Ven returns. We have really missed someone who can hold up the ball allowing others to get forward. Let's hope Solanke recovers.

I think that the system depends on all the right kind of players operating in it. The central defenders and midfielders moved the ball too slowly. This gives well-organised oppositions time to stifle the progress of the ball. We end up with loads of possession in front of their banked defenders.

This is a very good point. None of us knows who would buy the club and we might be in the uncomfortable place where we disapprove of the new owners. There's no guarantee the new owners would run things better from the point of view of the fans.

Governments need to do more to nudge consumers to change, like in Norway. Build infrastructure, fund research, tax polluters, give confidence to businesses to invest, make charging away from home cheaper.

EVs are fun to drive but I accept that it can be a hassle to charge if your property isn't ideal for the infrastructure. It's not as easy to charge when you're away from home. However, I save loads of time compared to when I had to go to petrol stations.

I find the negativity a bit hard to take to listen regularly. I prefer the more reasonable, consistent approach of @thegameisaboutglory.co.uk

And you also have to deal with random, ill-conceived (incorrect) claims like: - Your car might explode at any moment ๐Ÿ™ƒ - They are waiting for hydrogen ๐Ÿค” - EVs use more resources ๐Ÿคจ

Ha ha. As a household with 2 EVs it is exhausting how much people go to great lengths to tell us (without asking for their opinion) about all the perceived faults of our choice. When I politely push back on each point, they simply move to another. I just tell them "2.5p per mile."

Very good analysis. It's striking how little this is mentioned in the TV coverage.
