I like the ones with an actual directorial style. It's probably my favourite after 1. From 5 on I pretty much think of them by whichever of the stunts I can recall, of which I think Fallout is far and away the best, although I haven't seen 8 yet.

And perhaps a president physically and mentally capable of using the bully pulpit to pressure those two people

If it helps we sometimes use it as a perjorative in Australia. Kind of equivalent to poser or wanker

I was a bike messenger for nearly 20 years and sometimes carried some insane weight. The worst back injury I've ever had was a couple of years ago reaching for a towel on the bathroom floor

I assume Meet & Greet Night is code for F*ck-a-Fan night? Twitch TOS has gone too far

There are any number of proportional representation arrangements we could choose from which solve this problem and result in far fewer wasted votes rather than this antiquated, non-representative system. We should aspire to more than "at least we're not America" & "at least it's not FPTP"

I don't see how that helps. I'd like to be represented by either the candidate or party I voted for. Something that has only happened once in my 45 years of life, for around 2 years when I lived in the seat of Melbourne in '02-'04 while Lindsay Tanner was the MP and I was a Labor voter.

I don't want my second preference to represent me?

Sort of. Pakistanis in India on a particular class of visa. On the ground though I imagine it's a distinction that might get lost... www.thehindu.com/news/nationa...

I wouldn't vote for a candidate who supports all the things I support because she lives a couple of blocks away. You guys can't be helped. Good luck

They won't though. If they instruct the marshals to arrest him and they don't do it the court will have surrendered its power and they're not stupid. At the moment it's Schrodinger's cat but for power but it's not 50/50 the cat is definitely dead

Embarrassed to say it's not quite true. If you turned on Channel 9 it was showing the finale of season 2 of The West Wing. They apologised later for not cutting away.

These are the most important voting issues for me, listen up Albo. We're doubling down on daylight savings, it's year round, AND it's GMT+12. And second, release the carp herpes virus in the Murray. NO HALF MEASURES, NO MORE STUDIES, NO MORE CONSULTATIONS!

That's manufacturing cost. Multiply by ~1.6 to get an idea of retail

I think at this point you'd also need to factor in one or more of your people being detained by ICE. All this back and forth flying is extremely suspicious

Lmao absolutely insane thing to say given the Federalist Society's multi decade long dark money conspiracy to pack the courts with conservative judges. Absolutely unreal. It makes me so furious that as an Australian I have learned this stuff against my will

I like ax throwing due to absolutely dominating it on my first and only try. Don't need to do it again tho. Everyone needs new challenges

I don't get it I'm afraid. Prime video I can understand losing money on because it's just another "nice to have" to make prime more appealing. Apple can lose $1B forever but at some point you just have to say "Looks like we've got a windows phone on our hands here, time to pull the plug"

I know the historical reasons for attaching healthcare to employment in the US but it is still so baffling that it was never reformed

But if they didn't have apple tv programming they wouldn't be competitors? Their programming would be worth more being sold to netflix, maybe sold as a premium add-on, and bundled into deals with apple hardware. Stop wasting money on customer acquisition costs and streaming infrastructure

Probably too much to hope to leave 5 Eyes. Or 4 Eyes if Canada leaves, tho I imagine they'd change the name lol

Election is this year and if our center-left doofuses win again it will likely be in a minority government with a supply and confidence deal with the greens or some independents who don't like AUKUS. I doubt it would take much pressure to get them to fold on it, plenty of MPs are not big fans of it
comment in response to post
If this lunacy causes Australia to cancel the AUKUS sub deal which is like $300B I'm going to laugh so hard.
