Why does he need a bulletproof screen taking to his army? Scared?

so how many more tanks did they send to Washington than to Ukraine?

Instead of making their own good, russia destroys the good created by others. They bring nothing but destruction and death.

There is small comfort in that the damage he’s doing to the USA is much worse than anywhere else. The rest of the world will move on but the USA we knew is finished.

They will keep bombing us if we conduct operations. They will keep bombing us if we don’t. They will keep bombing us if we all stand still and do nothing.

He’s going to do it anyway. He’s just looking for excuses.

With reportedly 81 signatures, no other bill would see this level of bipartisanship. Pass it, make it veto proof and Trump can fuck right off.

Not just “of Ukraine” but of NATO as well. Has a belligerent country lost 1/3 of its long range strategic capability in one swoop since the nuclear age? Has NATO even said “thank you”?

Another US president willing to sacrifice Ukraine for an illusion of peace with russia and iran.

More likely that there's not much he can say. To admit the Ukrainians didn't tell him shows him as weak and without influence on Zelensky who has "no cards"; to say he knew about it would anger putin and the russians. so, just for now I'm sure, he doesn't have anything to say.

I meant they brought translators and spoke to the russians through them. Maybe I’m misremembering

Didn’t they already do that when they met with russians and the Americans?

But bombing civilians while they sleep is still a-ok? Fuck off

Easy to see why the meeting lasted an hour. russians don’t want peace and negotiations are completely unrealistic
comment in response to

Probably just an hour of russians whining about having their air force destroyed while Ukrainians smiled along.

It’s such a red herring. The Americans reconfirm their incompetence and inadequacy in foreign policy every time one of their officials regurgitates the kremlin propaganda. They are the living embodiment of might makes right because they’re just so goddamn naive and self absorbed.

In the 1990s, neither Moldova nor Georgia aspired to join NATO, yet russia waged war in both of them - and even carried out a genocide in Georgia.

Remember, Kellogg is supposedly too “pro-Ukraine” to negotiate with the russians. I guess we should take him seriously now, when he gives away concessions before talks even begin.

Zelensky should have met them "in 2 weeks"
