I’ll keep that in mind. Two really bad 1/2 hour pilots. One confusing sci-fi pilot. One drama pilot with a seasons worth of ideas stuffed into it. And a halfway decent action movie.

I’ve got nothing entered. But I live only like an hour from Austin. So I’m looking at the passes to go see some films and the weekend panels. The $175 lone star pass seems like a great way to spend a week watching new films first.

This has been the most difficult lesson for me. One and Two are my arch enemies. My last project had the opening scene, the mid-point, and end scene. Then I worked on Act I and wrote it. Then Act II outline and wrote it, etc. Currently I’m very conscious of staying in outline before: Fade In-

Very underrated. I remember renting it from Blockbuster because I’d seen Anne Archer in Patriot Games. I’d forgotten how ridiculously riveting Gene is in everything he’d been in before that I’d seen. The ā€žPicking your toes in Poughkeepsieā€ line in French Connection- it’s the town I grew up in.
