There was a post on the Cocoon about this: philosopherscocoon.typepad.com/blog/2025/06...

Advice varies on this, but I would say that after six months a polite email is only fair (especially if you're an early career researcher).

Thanks so much, I really appreciate the share! The few x-phi studies on justification attributions are exciting (yours especially), I am happy I could engage with it! :)

I’m grateful to many people who helped me with this. Special thanks are owed to Mikkel Gerken: he got me excited about these topics and patiently taught me how to think about issues in epistemology from an empirically informed perspective. All remaining faults or oversights are, of course, my own.

Thanks! I'm quite busy now, but I'll write you once I manage to take a look at your new paper. And I'd love to hear your thoughts on my Episteme paper, you're very kind! I often worry that I could have been more charitable in writing it, so any feedback would be welcome. Let's stay in touch :)

Just out of curiosity, what is it that you don't like about Overleaf? I must say that I'm not particularly fond of the new AI extensions... but I still like it a lot

Yes! Two more off the top of my head. Sonic Youth's Washing Machine, Pavement's Wowee Zowee

Yes! I would also add: AND COMPLETE THEM IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Historically, abstract selection has also been very beginner-friendly, so don't be afraid to submit something. In the spirit of the subfield's supportiveness, I'm happy to offer advice to any newbies to empirical philosophy who are interested in submitting an abstract. Just DM me.
