I was sure of it was a troop of ninja TT’s or JS’s although the music suggested the former. Did I miss a JS reference at the start?

Very very weird. The phrase “well I wasn’t expecting that” never felt more appropriate.

👋 Hello @nhskentandmedway.bsky.social... who do I speak to get something like this going in Kent please?

Sadly Wadebridge doesn’t have one despite being next to the county show ground, but Eden is only 30mins away 🫶

For some reason here in the UK we don’t restrict usage to keep levels healthy, we just carry on as normal until the water companies start to panic!

My lawn thinks it’s already August. Remembering last summer when the UK dodged the horrendous heatwaves seen throughout Europe and wondering if we’ll be that lucky again this year?

Late night posting 🤣 Obviously parkrun is not a cure, but it was starting to volunteer at parkrun nearly 10yrs ago that made me realise how disconnected my “anxiety avoidance” had made me. Still a work in progress

I have better advice…. Find all the questions first, then read them. I missed the entire back page once 😭

I suspect those who use that phrase have often done little more than skim read a bunch of sensationalist headlines and picked up on the "vibe" but either don't know or can't remember any specific details let alone provide links to credible evidence

Should we also be thinking about making home builders include PV and low carbon tech? Previous government made it illegal for LPA’s to impose renewables so lots of new housing has no PV.

It would be nice if we also made the stuff here too for a double whammy of benefits

Thank you! My grandson is now something of a poster child in the school due to how much he’s developed since getting a care plan and a 1-to-1 teaching assistant. We obviously do appreciate this is not cheap and times are hard but he now has a chance in life that he didn’t before

Of course he is... back the "good old days" struggling kids were simply written off and forgotten. My daughter had to fight like hell to get support for my grandson. He's now catching up and his life chances look to have improved massively and hence the likelihood of him paying income taxes 😉

lol... I don't think so! It was shorthand for saying in 2015 I wasn't in a great place - socially isolated, painfully introverted, a bit depressed and frustrated that I couldn't explain it or do anything about it. Then I discovered volunteering at parkrun and everything started to improve

But thank you Paul. For creating something that has changed my life immeasurably. I didn’t know I needed parkrun before I knew about parkrun, but as soon as I did know about parkrun, I knew I totally needed parkrun!

Everyone I know closely are watching the news and just dont understand what on Earth is going on or where things might be headed. Unprecedented and overwhelmingly confusing it feels like we've been divided and conquered in our sleep

Agree 1000% … and well done!

Darn it, just for a second I thought Cornwall had a new parkrun. Guess I'll just have to rough it at the Eden Project after all 🤣

I still find it shocking the BBC axed their “flagship technology program” leaving nothing in its place. What happened to Horizon and other science docs on the BBC? Even the Sky at Night seems to be AWOL.

Well I guess to some extent perhaps it is. I can’t help think about the awful irony of what the people of Gaza are being subjected to 😢

Let’s face it… if it needs AI to work… it will need working AI first!
