So it's fails to stop for the bus stop sign, runs over a child, then proceeds to drive off.
No way are tesla's robotaxis ready for the streets anywhere.

I also wasn't sure, so I checked and it's real.

China should ignore them, in fact the entire world should ignore everything from the criminal US administration.

If there's no enforcement/consequences for violating oaths then they're really not worth the paper they're printed on.

Ah yes, Politico the foreign owned news with a strong right wing bias. Everything they published should be scrutinized or discarded.

@reuters.com is really failing to do a good job reporting on US politics.

Just a reminder that it was with US interference that made Iran the way it is today.
Also while this anti-dog thing is absurd, the US is well on it's way to equally absurd pseudo-christian theocratic rule.

Not surprised crappy Tapper reposts an idiotic comment from Chatterton.
I feel I'm at risk of getting dumber every time I read something from that Chatterton dude.

Nice, I added it to my wish list at my local book store. Also, there's already a waiting list for it at my city's libraries.

I know the feeling. I had a movie theatre within walking distance that closed about 3 years ago, I haven't gone to a movie ever since, all the others are too far away - it's just not worth the effort.

Many jurisdictions got rid of grand juries because they don't actually serve a useful purpose, they're just a rubber stamp for the prosecution to proceed.

Well, that author is entitled to their opinion, but I think they're wrong.
During the election, the more I heard from the NDP the less I was willing to vote for them. They did this loss all by themselves.

Is that number real and verified, or an AI generated "hallucination"?

Looks good, I wonder if they'll have different colour options like frosted semi-translucent black similar to Windows aero?

Allegedly...That headline asserts something that is not yet known, Jonathan M. Gitlin should fix it.
This is partly why people have been losing trust of reporters and news media.

First it should be proven that this was or was not caused by protesters. Do you trust this administration, LAPD or Google to tell you the truth?

OMG the horror, traffic is temporarily inconvenienced.
Idiots in position of power is what's wrong with the world right now.

Is this sarcasm? Please say it's sarcasm.
If the diversity means include hate and racism then it really shouldn't be invited here or tolerated.

That's what I thought too, but then according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Ma... he's Republican.

If you stayed home or voted for trump over this one particular issue when you knew how high the stakes are then I'm calling you & those people irresponsible.

WTF is wrong with you? The quality of @theatlantic.com is getting worse by the week.

Ugh. The Atlantic gets trashier and trashier every month. I used to consider it a pretty respectable but not anymore.

Since they settled with trump, I decided to avoid ABC News and Walt Disney, this today has confirmed I made the right decision.

I wonder how that could even be possible? I don't think most companies would want to withhold federal taxes and get caught up in IRS penalties or legal proceedings.

Politico saying "moving to the center" is comical. Of course the right in the US has shifted so far right that even right-leaning Dems are considered left wing radicals.

When was the last time you had an Android? I ask because everything gets auto-updated nowadays - I had to switch it so I could see the updates first and apply them when I want to.

Congrats. Tech is transforming economies in a good way, AI not so much. The error rate of AI's demands that there be proper oversight.

Grand juries are entirely a waste of time, that's why many countries don't use them anymore.

Oh please. Lots of Susan Collins type of concern trolling, but there has always been very little doubt that it'll pass.

Teens sneaking onto adult websites has been and will always be a problem. This is where parenting and sex education comes in to play to reduce the risks. This is why parents should be more cautious of giving a smartphone to their kids without adequate oversight.

They've all been programmed to never admit anything if it reflects badly of trump.
None of them are qualified for the jobs their supposed to be doing.
comment in response to

My understanding is that they were supposed to be a second check to protect the presidency from the likes of trump, but turned out to be nothing more than a rubber stamp. Useless institution.

The primary thing seems a bit overrated. Here in Canada, we never directly vote for our Prime Minister, the party chooses their leader, and if that party wins then that leader becomes Prime Minister. Doesn't seem to have worse outcomes than your system.

No EULA should be considered legally binding if there's no actual negotiation between the you and them. Seriously, very few would actually accept terms that give all the power to them.

Sadly we have a disturbingly large number of maple-maga. Luckily gerrymandering isn't as big a problem up here, our senate is chosen differently and so is our supreme court. But the threat they pose is real and concerning.

Yeah I'm going to discount a book from an author who deliberately waited to publish a provocative book that's based on hearsay and may or may not have exaggerations to make money rather than report on these things. I mean he's on TV all the time.
comment in response to

Yikes. Even credible sources can make mistakes or succumb to their biases.
comment in response to

For starters he could have reported this on his show rather than waiting to publish a book. Anyway you do you. I'll continue with my careful questioning of media and entertainment "news" hosts.
