Fun #StarWars fact - in the New Republic era, a bunch of new regulations were made aimed at limiting weapon proliferation and arm sales, with the idea of preventing mass-stockpiling, future large-scale war, etc. Well intentioned, but we know it fails. Why? Well one reason is real funny

I get many cold emails with inquires from potential authors, agents repping folks, artists, licensors, etc. I appreciate the varied way people present themselves or their brands and their interest in #publishing That said: "Google me, you'll be impressed" is not exactly a way to get me interested.

Every once in a while I must admit I feel a pang of jealously that books aren't covered by pop culture media like movies, tv, games, even comics (pictures good, words bad) Then I see how that stuff gets covered time and again, and am fine to sit over here in obscurity with our dopey words.
