What is Trump hiding? Release the Epstein files.

Damn, Elon managed to piss Trump off to the point of threatening to use the state to destroy his businesses, and it didn't even take six months! I figured they wouldn't fall out until the GOP got wrecked in the midterms.

Reading about the history of the song John Brown's Body has lead me to a bit of an epiphany; they key problem with the Democratic Party is not that it, as an organization, is too cringe, but rather that it is *INSUFFICIENTLY* cringe. I will expand upon this when I'm not extremely tired.

Finally finished my *very* bedraggled (thanks to being carried about in a haversack) copy of @holz-bau.bsky.social's book, Building for People, and my brain is buzzing with ideas about how to shoehorn these concepts - plus what I've been thinking about for ages - into my local government's planning.

“I’m just going to say it, shame on any of us who throws a trans child under the bus for thinking they’re going to get elected. That child deserves our support. Don’t worry about the pollsters calling it distractions, because we need to be the party of human dignity.”

Which American does this help? The wealthiest continue to get unneeded tax breaks and the America they barely onstersect with will be so much worse

It's crazy how now, even a century later, we're still dealing with the fundamental problem of drivers making everyone else on the road less safe, and so driving a decline of all other forms of transit. And the US response to this continues to be more cars. We are not a serious country.

Look, you follow this stuff through to its logical conclusion and it becomes pretty clear that this road leads to Gilead.

Fuck that drunken unqualified jackass. He will never create anything of value; the only thing he can do is destroy the things others create.
