Fair. As annoyed as I am, I should be grateful for the problems I do have...not pining for entirely new and different problems.

Haha music lately, but the peaky thoughts do creep in occasionally

I've been on a bit of a podcast detox lately, but it sounds like this one will be worth giving a listen

Gotta be honest, it's gonna take a lot for me to like workday. Gerrit has quite a job ahead of him.

I'd resign out of sheer shame and embarrassment. Just, wow.

Agreed. I'd love to opt-in to different content (e.g. "let me know when there are new arrivals" or "let me know about flash sales") but those kind of bespoke options rarely seem to be available (even though on the back-end it wouldn't be that difficult to set up).

Hell, with all the improvements they've been making to the platform (complimentary), I think it's fair to expect to be surprised by questions about some new feature or ability I haven't interacted with yet.

Want me to lay bricks to build a bridge? I'm on it. Want me to row a boat, day after day, to ferry people across the water? Watch out because I might just throw myself overboard first

Flew out of there last week. Good news is it was very chill and calm. Hope the same for you!

Of course the Branch Manager had to do his thing

Congrats! I'd definitely default to sharing. Does your firm have any existing rituals for celebrating accomplishments? If not, maybe this could spark a conversation about establishing one? Worst case scenario, I'd keep this in my back pocket for my next annual review, so at least my manager knew.

"Power Query is designed for those poor schmucks who are out in the wilderness with a Swiss army knife, two matches, some kindling, and a thousand CSV files." Honestly, PQ is in my go bag for exactly this reason 😅
