So Elon can blow stuff up. That's all SpaceX has done with their last three launches, have them explode before even getting out of the atmosphere.

For me, I'm always baffled at the non-union trade companies that back him. Knowing how many of those types of companies went bankrupt because Trump never paid them for their work.
Yes, NY/NJ tend to vote Dem, but those 2 states know all about Trump's business moves that bankrupt small contractors

I hate the Yankees and have for a long long time. I will never forget this game.

Members of Congress do not get free health care. Which is what you're implying. They pay roughly 20%.

They don't care. Look what Sen. Ernst said to Iowans about cutting Medicaid? We're all going to die.

How about give the area back to Virginia and Maryland being it sits between those two states?
DC can't become a state without changing the constitution.

She doesn't think that country exists.

It's the simple fact very few in DC seems to be embarrassed at the fact Americans can lose everything they ever worked for because of a member of their family getting seriously sick.
I've made comments to my mother that I want to live in a country that cares about its citizen.

Which the media did in spades, make all of this seem like it's normal when it's anything but.

Or getting upset when guitarist Tom Morello says something about Trump not realizing the songs they released were antigovernmental period. Guess MAGA thought that was because of Clinton being President at the time.

Barron is an adult now too, so he'll have to deal with it. They can't protect him forever.

That would include the Attorney General, John Mitchell. Who basically never spoke to his wife, Martha again. Because it was her who ended up blowing Watergate wide open.

That would require a constitutional amendment. Plus DC was never meant to be the thriving city it turned into.

And the fines can't be a tax deduction to lessen that burden later.

US government will never do that being all levels of government in the US is beholden to special interests and that's not small business or workers.
I get why small business owners vote conservative, but con policies are for big business, not small business.
comment in response to
post
The fines have to be big enough for a major corporation to feel it. Because Big Agriculture relies on immigrants, legal or otherwise. Until then, business as usual. A small business going under won't make a difference, forcing a big company to pay hundreds of millions in fine will.

How can anyone blame him for DA:V when he left BioWare years ago and had zip to do with it. That's like getting pissed off at Drew Karpyshyn for the ending of ME3.
comment in response to
post
I've not bought another BioWare game since. Between DA:I, ME:A and SW:TOR, I lost complete and utter faith in a company I used to love.
While I can put some of the blame on EA, some of the mess BioWare is in, is self-inflicted.
As much as I love Mass Effect, the next game isn't on my radar.

ME1-3 sucked me in so hard I wrote over a million words worth of fan-fiction that even though I don't write anything new anymore, I still get people reading what I wrote.
ME:A is the absolute worse game from BW I've ever played. It's recycled trash writing that just sets me off.
comment in response to

I don't trust BioWare to make a good game. DA:O and DA2 sucked me in, played for 100s of hours. DA:I didn't suck me in, I found the design equal to a single player MMO with lots of nothing to do in spots and zones that could be skipped completely.
Forcing myself to beat is isn't how I enjoy games
comment in response to

Games need to be more than an ocean wide but have the depth of a puddle. That's most RPGs published by AAA publishers like EA and Ubisoft, which are the two worse companies right now releasing shitty RPGs.
Because of how much I didn't like DA:I, ME:A, seeing the mess SW:TOR turned into

in either ME or DA until DA:I and ME:A. DA:I, never got through a 3rd run. ME:A, I barely got through once and forced myself to actually beat it. If I wasn't a ME fanfic writer I would have quit about 20 hours into it like I did Starfield. Lucky for me, I didn't buy Starfield, used Game Pass PC

I've been playing BW games since before EA bought them. BW has not been the same since Ray and Greg left in fall of 2012. As a player, I could see the difference in quality. I will play a game I'm in love with for 100s if not over a 1000 hours. I can not tell you the number of runs I've done

Between you and Mark Darrah I see a lot of articles about BioWare/EA the RPGs they made being compared to Larian/BG3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Neither of those games are developed under a shitty AAA publisher, like EA or Ubisoft.
I'm going to be blunt about this.

My welder friend complained one night about a new guy fresh from trade school who couldn't read a tape measure to measure the pipe they needed to weld.
comment in response to

My husband is an union electrician. Good friend is an union pipefitter/plumber and another good friend is a non-union welder.
None of them wants to work with someone who went to a trade school. They don't learn shit and can barely be good enough to be a helper. Which is below apprentice.
comment in response to
post
Going to a trade school will not teach people much being those programs are usually $25k+ for under a year worth of "training"
You can not learn electrical or plumbing in a few short months. Or even welding. Learning those skills take years, not months.

NBC Sports said the same during the Tour de France last year. I know someone with it in Florida as their internet and it goes out every time it storms.

I've been watching the Giro d'Italia on Max. Tuesday, they added former rider, current DS for Team Jayco AlUla, Steve Cummings. They use Starlink when he was with Ineso last year to see the TV feed and when the weather got bad or high up, didn't work well.

They left 17 years after she died. They left for the Netherlands first before trying to go across the Atlantic in 1620. Elizabeth I died in 1603. Might have been her policy, but they took their sweet ass time before leaving for the "new world".

Those voters are getting the day they voted for, losing their health care. losing their spouses to deportation, spending more for basic needs.
They cut off their nose to spite their face.

Many of the inventions in the US that were created in the 1800s were done by immigrants from Europe. Not created by someone born here. The railroad in some of the worse places in the country were done by Chinese immigrants. Their thanks for it, Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. Repealed in 1943

America exceptionalism is just PR. That is the one thing America is best at, public relations. All PR really is someone slinging bullshit to distract from something bad.
History is white-washed glossed over bullshit. It's by design to make the country look "great" while being a steaming pile of💩

I will say this, nominating Harris showed me the Dems didn't learn from 2016. America wasn't ready for a white woman to be President, no way was it ready for one of color.
When will Americans fully understand, their country is racist down to its core?

US already had a gay President, James Buchanan. Never married, had male visitors at night at the White House and his niece was acting First Lady.

Speaker Pelosi: Say what? We can't have that.
Dems in the House voted for a white man in his 70s over AOC. Who has now died.
Dems are nicer, that's the difference. They're complicit in what's going on. GOP took the courts when Obama was in the WH & Pelosi was Speaker of the House.
