Cycled put to Wicken Fen today - glorious warm early spring day with everything greening up. Saw the sails turning on the windmill so went and checked it put and got to see the mechanisms in action. They make great flour and it’s what I mostly bake bread with.

Happy Imbolc all! The end of winter and first signs that spring is on its way: apple trees are showing bud as is the blackthorn out in the fens. Fields that were barren a week ago are now turning green. Every day the sun rises a little higher and has a little more warmth.
