Only thing that could make this better would be tacking on "akshually" at the end.

"Cult-like" is doing a lot of work here. Not every close knit religious community is a cult. Biggest flaw I am aware of with POP is their school scandal. From my close vantage, POP is not AKSHUALLY a cult, either doctrinally or behaviorally, and I expect more of the same from Coney Barrett.

I actually know a lot of People of Praise folks. Mostly really nice people. Would agree re: Buttigieg though. Another of South Bend's finest.

imo, the big events of the 2000's that stoked populist anger were the lack of prosecutions and incarcerations for the banking crimes and self dealing that led to the Great Recession, and the lack of prosecutions and incarceration for that monster, Jeffrey Epstein.

It’s almost like incentivizing hospital systems to gobble up every private medical practice in town drives up costs.

Perhaps the best book ever written, but literally half of the chapters in ‘Les Miserables’ have NOTHING that advances the plot, and have NO business in a movie. 100 pages on the French monastic system. 100 pages on the streets and sewers of Paris. 400 pages on Waterloo.

Y'all are like the 'Sovereign Citizens Movement' people, who think that the rules that apply to the rest of humanity don't apply to you. YES, you have to pay taxes! NO, pain of "twenty out of ten" is not a thing!
