We released our Interesting Times episode last week. It was challenging at times (CN: fatphobia, orientalism, discussion of rape jokes), but we had plenty to talk about. Rincewind remains Rincewind though, perhaps even more so than before. diningtablediscworld.podbean.com/e/dining-tab...

Discworld Calendar - May 2004 The Gods of Discworld by Angelo Rinaldi This Classical scene of the Discworld Gods playing dice has a lot of great details. Obviously very inspired by Greek mythology and art, with a bit of Egyptian thrown in. Blind Io's floating eyeballs add a surreal touch.

Meet Susan, a young woman whose inheritance defies logic. And Imp, a young man who wants to give his life to music. See the wizards get carried away, again. Listen to us discuss headcannons, grief & Music With Rocks In! Plus more puns than you can shake a drumstick at www.podbean.com/ew/pb-a794x-...

Podcast update: Soul Music - coming soon Interesting Times - to be recorded, again* Maskerade - being read * there was an issue with the first recording, so need to re-record. Not had this happen since Mort

Discworld Calendar April 1999 - The Colour of Magic by Josh Kirby This one has a warm, cosy sort of feel due to the colours, but it's dispelled as you look closer. It's clear which scene in the book this is, but not at all clear which figures are the main characters. Still certainly atmospheric.

With the old school officers dubious about the new recruits, the last thing the Night Watch needs is a high profile murder they absolutely are not supposed to investigate. We discuss policing, diversity, class consciousness and what counts as undead in Men At Arms www.podbean.com/ew/pb-rv4vc-...

Discworld calendar - February 2005 Mr Pin and Mr Tulip by David Frankland Well all the rain in this picture certainly feels like today.

Podcast update: Small Gods - recorded and being edited Lords and Ladies - read a while ago and just recorded There was some illness and Christmas between reading and recording Lords and Ladies, but turns out we'd remembered a fair bit of it, so that's pretty long still.

For the Boxing Day crowd, our first special episode about the TV version of Colour of Magic.

@ctjhill.bsky.social one for you!

Perhaps not a surprise that we have some Discworld Christmas ornaments. These are miniatures of Death-as-Hogfather and Albert playing an elf. Dave painted these and decorated the bases, with his customary attention to detail.

Happy Hogswatch folks! This month we've done a special episode about the Colour of Magic TV show. Join us as we discuss the adaption (combining Colour of Magic & The Light Fantastic) including casting and VFX. Our normal episode format will resume next month. www.podbean.com/ew/pb-9dndt-...

The Witches are Abroad, spreading chaos across half a continent, beset by stories & pumpkins. Join us as we discuss how mirror magic is very relevant in the 21st Century, and the terrifying spectre of Granny Weatherwax not being The Good One. diningtablediscworld.podbean.com/e/dining-tab...

Today's project, reorganising the painting desk. New (reinforced) shelf up and the Two Thin Coats racks in. Now to see where I can fit the remaining 4 racks of paints!

OK, I'm bringing out the big guns to test Bluesky engagement😀 Repost & follow to be in the draw! One randomly selected person will get this signed (& dedicated) copy of the Locked Library special edition of THE BOOK THAT WOULDN'T BURN.

On our way home from an excellent #FantasyCon. Check out @ctjhill.bsky.social excellent threads on the panels we saw. Trip home a little less straightforward due to signal problems, so may have to impose on family for a lift home from Wolverhampton!

We've read & discussed 10 Discworld novels, and are a quarter(ish) of the way through. Our Quadrant 1 episode looks back at early Discworld. Faves, disappointments, surprises, themes & continuity. Plus Dave introduces his Weatherwax head cannon. www.podbean.com/ew/pb-9eh2s-...

For the weekend crowd, our Moving Pictures episode is out on various podcatchers & YouTube. Ankh Morpork loves the clicks, but while folk are trying to break into Moving Pictures there are Things trying to break out. Ft a talking 🐶 boding fog, 🦧 in distress & 1000 🐘 www.podbean.com/ew/pb-unsny-...

Now we've got 10 episodes, it's time for a🧵 (Also work is about to get crazy-busy so probably won't be posting much for a bit) Introduction Find out who were are and why we're doing a Discworld podcast. www.podbean.com/ew/pb-p8qtb-...

Kid is concerned that the turtle and elephants find the Discworld too heavy and suggests sometimes the elephants get off Great A'tuin's shell and walk alongside for a bit. He reckons this would be friendlier. When we pointed there's no ground to walk on in space, he said they could do a spacewalk.

My favourite comics podcast to listen to!

Small things to make ones day. Walking into Greggs as a new tray of sausage rolls gets brought out of the oven!

My latest completed Tau model.

In our new episode we discuss Equal Rites, which was probably @ctjhill.bsky.social's first Discworld book. When (proto) Granny Weatherwax went to the big city and, confusingly, learned how to hustle. Now available on more podcast platforms, Facebook & coming to YT www.podbean.com/ew/pb-q9qxe-...

Look, it's cold, grey and the first day of advent. I reckon it's time to resurrect Tea and Sanctuary with an advent calendar! Each day contains comfort and extreme nerdery. You can listen to day 1 here: www.podbean.com/ew/pb-qrmtm-... #podcast #ST:TNG #teaandsanctuary

Lovelies, I've been working on a secret project for about a year and the time has come to let people know about it! A shiny new podcast called Imagining Tomorrow, made in partnership with Friends of the Earth, is launching next week! Listen to the trailer here: www.enewman.co.uk/emma-newmans...

We are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the publication of The Colour Of Magic by publishing the first episode of our podcast! diningtablediscworld.podbean.com/e/dining-tab...

I published my new episode Dining Table Discworld - Introduction, please check it out www.podbean.com/ea/pb-p8qtb-...

Love this model, but hate the construction! Not enough solid points, it wobbles when you dry brush it. Still, enjoying painting and it's different to the Deathwing Terminators I'm doing at the same time.

My first post, let's set the tone! Here is my build of the Hemoxian Legion of Thor. Still needs decals, but looking good so far.
