I think so. Having watched that sequence 1000 times now, it’s clear Prince Hans intentionally never says anything of substance.
My favorite part is when the trolls tell Elsa “fear will be your enemy” and the parents nod along then IMMEDIATELY lock her up and teach her to live in fear.

(I have been traveling for 30+ hours after a missed connection/weather delay, thank you for engaging with my airplane thoughts)

TikTok: why are you parroting Israel’s phrasing (I used quotes intentionally here)
YouTube: why aren’t you showing videos of people in Iran praising Israel (that would be a very small sample size)
On a positive note: we have two very different audiences, but they both engage!

It’s ok now. The issue is that when you download a video and save it to your photo album to repost elsewhere, the captions aren’t there any more.
So, many people (including myself, the WP, and the CBS example above) “burn them in” so they appear no matter what.

This text is “burnt in” so it would show up the same on desktop.
The easy fix is just centering text more and/or breaking up longer text boxes into two separate sequential boxes.

They don’t seem to care. If they did care, I’d be gone!

No really, those buttons would’ve covered that sample screenshot on any phone. And lots of editing software now even comes with filters that show you where to stay in the margins.
I promise, it is so so easy to avoid.

I was saying this back in 2019. It’s so easy to not make this mistake but people just keep making it. All you have to do is watch the video and imagine experiencing it as a viewer.

Happy to announce I'll be teaching Race Media and International Affairs 101 online-- hosted by D.C.'s MLK Jr. Memorial Library!
