How can the defense stop a fourth (or third, second) and inches with the tush push? Offense knows the snap count. Defense has to jump the count and faces and offsides call. Every offense will be running this play this season.

Wow, really? What a moron.

Great show. That’s quite a pour he has!

I wonder if the CCP is really on board with a potential sale because neither the Verge article nor the NPR article discusses this. Is the US actively negotiating with China or is this just a bunch of tech companies talking about what they hope will happen, assuming China is agreeable?

May it die a miserable, fiery death.

It doesn’t make sense for Threads to share account portability, despite the fact they sold it as such. It also doesn’t make sense to have one social media company running almost all the socials. Fingers crossed Bluesky can be a “good” social spot.

The fact that it's news that they flew him in, instead of making him make his own travel arrangements or meeting via zoom, tells you a lot about this cheap, pathetic franchise.

Will this use the same account information as Bluesky? Or will we need to create a new account and username?
comment in response to post
So it seems like no separate account will be necessary? That would make things much cleaner.
comment in response to post
Wonder if this will share the same username as the Bluesky username, or will a new account (and potentially new username) have to be created? Separate usernames might be messy.

Funny. I wonder what the thought process was.

“After some discussion, Comer ruled that Mace’s remark had not been a call to violence, saying she could have been asking Crockett to go outside to “have a cup of coffee or perhaps a beer.”” They act like sixth graders.

Silly. The sad thing is that it will get worse.

Yep.

Looking forward to getting a Surf invite!

Granted, the Bears have no OC and no HC. But they are still absolutely putrid.

This team is putrid.

One of the most badass moments in rock and roll. Barely missed a beat.

Signed up. Excited to check this out!

My view: they will only be happy when we live in caves and pray to the moon god.

They will only be happy when we are cave dwellers praying to the moon god.

Finally! 😉

I don’t think the organization cares one way or the other. It’s simply a money making venture. So if they sell tickets and merchandise, why make an effort to succeed on the field?
comment in response to post
Just a few years ago we would have been salivating to prove ourselves against these teams. Sure, it would have been challenging. Now, however, it’s really hard to remain positive. 🤞

Have to come out of the gate at 3-1. If not, it’s going to be ugly!

"This superhero movie challenges its audience… to stay awake." Marvel has such a deep pool of stories and characters. Sorry to hear that they blew this one.

I think the important question is: is this the norm or have more Wisconsin players than other teams gone into the portal? If this is on par with other Big 10 programs, it's not much of a big deal.

Good summary of the current situation.

Watch recommendations would be much appreciated!

Doesn't seem like an inspiring hire. Hope I'm wrong.

Fickell and Bucky need to recover from the disaster that was Longo. I can’t imagine anyone thinking Grimes is a great choice. I don’t get it.
comment in response to post
How can this not be made into a movie?
comment in response to post
That is institutional negligence. Strike that. Not negligence. It’s willful and wanton behavior.

No one wants to pay. . . for anything. However, I pay a lot more for my NYT subscription, but I read and listen to The Verge more than the NYT. So a paid sub is worth it for me. Hey, my wife and I spent $13 on two cups of coffee from Starbucks, so let's put things in perspective.

No doubt that Meta will copy Bluesky’s features. I really hope that Bluesky can be a “realtime” news alternative to Meta and Musk. Threads is… fine. But I don’t need Meta to have more of my data than it already has.

We know that with the team and coaching staff as currently assembled, and with next year’s nightmare schedule, 2025 will likely be worse than this year. The question is 2026. Will the school be able to stomach Fickell and McIntosh at that point? I don’t see two more years of the status quo.
comment in response to post
Has there been an iota of improvement over the last two years?
comment in response to post
Fickell better show significant improvement next year. This was the worst season probably since before Barry took over. Makes me sick.
comment in response to post
What the hell is wrong with this coaching staff?
comment in response to post
Likely going to move higher up in the draft before this nightmare is over.
comment in response to post
Have to find a way to win today.
comment in response to post
Coaching doesn’t get much worse than that.

Just pathetic. Fire Eberflus. Get an offensive line for god’s sake!
comment in response to post
Almost glad I’m at the in-laws and can’t see the game. . .
comment in response to post
Who are they going to beat here? San Fran and Seattle possibly. Even if they go 3-3, I pray to the football gods that won't be enough to save Eberflus.
comment in response to post
Fickell seems to get the recruits. Well, at least the out-of-state recruits. Now, if he could only motivate them and, you know, coach.
comment in response to post
We've been spoiled for the last 25 years. Have to get back to the program that played with fire and knocked the snot out of the other team. You can read between the lines that Alvarez is livid. Rightfully so. Fickell better feel the heat.

Old one looks like the Life 360 app. 🤷‍♂️

It kind of makes sense to me. In other words, the outward screen changes when the user can or cannot see a person in front of them
