"We are focused on highlighting Alberta's role as a responsible and collaborative trading partner and will continue working alongside other provinces to advocate for a tariff-free relationship." by just letting the US do whatever it wants, Smith is spineless

So he puts out a release (or some sane person on his staff did) which was, in the main, normal. Then he follows it up with this drivel....

Yes, housing prices have to drop but there are shadows of 2008 that any politician would want to avoid (over-leveraged mortgages if values sink, etc). By your own admission, the Carney housing platform is "very good". Let's let it play out before we spark a panic.

In what world, exactly, would a nation at war source its weapon supply from its foreign adversary. I'm not a procurement professional but that arrangement would seem problematic....

And, it was the Liberal government that bought and completed the Trans Mountain pipeline to get Alberta oil to the B.C. coast. Kind of supports the oil and gas industry, doesn't it?

Here's a thought - pressure your Conservative party to put forth a platform that appeals to a broader spectrum of voters; elect a party leader who doesn't insult everyone or speak in slogans; read some history - it wasn't that long ago that Alberta was an agrarian economy receiving transfer payments

This is a ridiculous take. The author is tying Carney to decisions made by Trudeau, is saying "omg no, Carney can't do that", pre-supposing that conditions can't change. It's the equivalent of starting an analysis with "the problem with that is....", a negative take from the jump.

This is the repeated claim of these idiots. Government is not a business, can't be run like a business, can't be measured like a business. A business aims for / has a specific clientele. Government has EVERYONE. Two diametrically opposed ways of operating.
