Thomas has been well paid. Alito is just a natural a-hole.

This is a joke, right? Early test run of an April Fool’s prank? Draft Onion article?

The knife is not a scalpel, but a saw. Harsh, collateral damage, painful, sad.
Is USDS next? It was an Obama years creation.

I took the “denial through avoidance and dissociation” route. Cue the “I am fine” meme.

How do you create a great product. Isn’t design 1 of those elements, thus correlating with the usability metric.
And you can filter comments against a list of words that relate to UX/Design.

Increase satisfaction comments in NPS from X t Y %; demonstrate correlation to improved SUS scores.

Not exactly, if you have a great NPS analytics team w attitude analysis software you can look at the long text and correlate scores with comments and provide good analysis.
Does anything that engineering do probably impacts the business all on its own? Product management? It takes a village.

I find most stats aren’t actionable by themselves. There needs to be correlation with at least 1 other stat in order to convert a stat to insight, let alone action.

Objective: loose weight
KR: lose 25lbs

How to challenge.
Early career folk can often be push overs.
This includes everything from asking why, not just asking for a recipe and following it, to pressing the data hard when others are slipping.
Oh! And systems.

SUS for usability
C-SAT for satisfaction
NPS for current mood and random understanding of. 10-point scale.
But you can create a rubric for any qualitative data thus converting it into a scaled and moving number that can be compared and thus trended over time.

OMG!! I can’t believe this. (I mean I can but don’t want to.)
She meant so much to the IxD world. Especially as the editor of JohnnyHolland.

I gave up hating on TC after Minority Report. One of my favorite movies.

I would have probably asked to be homeschooled or institutionalized. I had to quit FB as an adult as it is. Still came out scarred.

At Walmart we’ve turned it into a translation tool for teams out in stores and in distro centers.

My son took Home Ec in HS. I did in Jr High.
We can both boil water and set a timer. I still can’t measure pasta appropriately though.
Also, I can cook an egg various ways and make a quesadilla.

There should be two times: landed and disembarking.
But 1 reason they don’t count the disembarking is often it is the airport’s fault and not theirs.
Often it is the airline’s fault (like no gate available, but it’s their plane in the way)

$150 for data?
Is that home + mobile? If not that’s expensive, and there are ways to make both cheaper.
Also I don’t understand the candles reference.
