Everyone is entitled to feel how they feel about Trent leaving. All emotions are valid & real. I’ve been resigned to it for a long time, so I’m not arsed. I’m more interested about how we go about replacing what Trent brought to the team, & how we can improve. That’s the only thing that matters.

The #NFL removing the words "No racism" from the end zones of today's #SuperBowlLIX venue, New Orleans, because the president's attending the game, is so 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Interesting. Read to the end.

Younger audiences will find this really weird, but in 1984 winning the title & European Cup was more important than the daily neurosis about whether one of LFC's greatest players (& captain) would still be there the following season. Innocent times, eh... www.telegraph.co.uk/football/202...

The British tradition of complaining about who's on the New Years honours list, and who isn't, is mental. It's nearly 2025 lads, and you're all arguing about who got the scraps from a King's table? Get up off your knees and realise having a king is fucking ridiculous, never mind his honours list.

It's a shame people think it's so simple that if you wear the strikers shirt, your job is to score goals. It's really not. Your job is to do what is asked of you within a system designed by the coach for the benefit of the team, & to get results.

We all need electricity - it's a universal need. But we can only choose one supplier. Private companies operate a natural monopoly. We need to return to a public service, where profits become re-investment in lower prices and better infrastructure, not higher dividends. Reverse Thatcherism 👍

There are very few far right accounts on BlueSky. So if you block the likes of Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson, Laurence Fox, GB News etc. as soon as they show up, they'll find it very hard to gain traction. (They're counting on the network effect of YOUR outrage. Don't give them the satisfaction.)
